Spumante Brut Blanc de Noir
A traditional-method sparkling wine with distinctive character, born from the blend of Sangiovese and Pinot Noir. Extended ageing on the lees shapes its profile, preserving freshness and balance while adding notes of citrus, small red berries and delicate hints of fermentation. On the palate, it is creamy and structured, supported by a fine, persistent perlage and a pleasantly incisive finish.

General Characteristics
Denomination: Quality Sparkling Wine
Method: Metodo Classico.
Varietal: 60% Sangiovese, 40% Pinot Noir.
Growing area: Southeast of Siena, in the municipality of Castelnuovo Berardenga, on the southern boundary of the Chianti Classico production area.
Vineyard density: About 5.400 vines per hectare.
Training system: Guyot.
Harvest: Exclusively by hand into small boxes.
Vineyard age: Starting in the mid-1980s, in-depth research was carried out Fèlsina’s terrains to identify the most suitable clones; shoots were then propagated and planted, and the musts micro-vinified.
Vinification
After careful selection, the grapes undergo gentle pressing. The resulting must is cold-settled, racked and fermented at a controlled temperature.
In spring, the wine is bottled, blending the new vintage with a small selection of the finest wines from the previous harvest. Sugar and selected yeasts (liqueur de tirage) are then added to initiate the second fermentation. After 48 months of secondary fermentation in the bottle, disgorgement is carried out, followed by the addition of the liqueur d’expédition. The wine then undergoes at least 3 months of bottle ageing.
Sensory Profile
Intense straw yellow with golden highlights and a fine, persistent perlage. The initial nose is rich and fresh, with notes of citrus and red berries, complemented on the finish by a delicate hint of melted butter. With aeration, the bouquet becomes richer and more evolved, revealing fruity and fermentation-derived notes in perfect balance.
The palate is creamy, balanced and fresh, with good structure and a touch of tannin emerging on the mid-palate. On the finish, the creamy texture becomes more incisive, leading to a long and persistent finish.
